Davidson's new adventure...homeschooling.

The Davidson family has begun a new adventure...homeschooling. Samuel officially began kindergarten this year! It has been interesting so far, trying to juggle keeping Juwan happy, Brennan engaged, and Samuel learning. For the most part Brennan does a lot of learning alongside Samuel, which is nice. We are slowly learning how to keep to somewhat of a schedule and still allow for flexibility. I must say there are times when I think, "I'm not cut out for this." Yet, when I hear Brennan and Samuel pretending to be Vikings or one of them say, "I need to go to the garderrobe," that's when it seems well worth the stress that seems to accompany homeschooling. Also, when I see that Samuel, Brennan, and Juwan get to spend so much time together; I'm reminded that if Samuel was off at a regular school, this would not be so. On the selfish note, I get to see my Samuel all throughout the day. I am blessed to see him grow in so many ways, more than just academically!

Samuel took this picture of me!

Painting with raspberries.

Eating Roman bread pudding.

It looks disgusting...Scott and I did not like the texture, but the boys loved it!  They couldn't get enough.

Testing out the coracles...yes the actually floated!

Juwan being silly!

Painting their "fossils"

This was spread out over a few months...and actually...my house usually looks like a tornado has just touched down. :) Believe me there are many days I don't do all that I want to.
