Last weekend we went down to the farm so Samuel could ride the "big tractor." He loves tractors and has only been in the smaller ones. So, his Poppy was out harvesting beans and stopped to let him have a ride. Of course Scott had to get in on the action also :) I'm not sure who had more fun, Samuel or Scott? Anyway, Samuel wasn't scared at all and ended up falling asleep to the noise of the combine. Here are some pics.

Well, it's been a while since I posted anything. Samuel took his first steps a couple weeks back and now is walking a lot on his own! He is so cute, walking like Frankenstien. He still is not completely sturdy on his own two feet, but he sure thinks he is. All he wants to do now is get down and walk, either holding on to your finger or trying it out on his own. WOW, where did the time go? Here is a picture. We are still working on getting some video clips put on here so you all can see him in action.

Samuel's First Birthday Party!

On Saturday August 25th we had a huge birthday celebration for our son Samuel. About 40 people came to help us celebrate the birth of our first child! It was a lot of fun seeing Samuel dig into his cake and eat his ice cream. We didn't have any doubt that he would love this because he really likes sweets, OOPS! It was an added treat to have our good friend Christina come from Indianapolis to share in this day and she was a lot of help! Scott was sick with Lyme's Disease so he wasn't able to do all that he wanted, but I had help from his mom Carrie, my mom, and Christine. We are just so thankful to have Samuel in our lives; he is truly a blessing from God! We have some video of his birthday and will try to post it soon.
